NWTC District Board of Trustees seeks candidates

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is now accepting applications for one position on the NWTC District Board of Trustees. Board members play a key role in helping shape higher education and grow the economic vitality of the region.

“NWTC is a pillar to the workforce pipeline of Northeast Wisconsin, transforming lives through education and bolstering the industries that make our communities great,” said Dr. Kristen Raney, NWTC president. “With the growth of our region and demand for skilled workers, the role of our District Boad members has never been more crucial. Serving as a District Board member is not merely a role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our thriving community.”

Applications for the following Board position are now being accepted for a three-year term: one employee representative.

The counties currently represented by this appointment are Kewaunee/Manitowoc. NWTC seeks candidates residing within the NWTC district to fill this position.

In the appointment process, equal consideration is given to the general population distribution within the District and to the distribution of women and diverse populations on the Board in accordance with the Plan of Representation.

About the Position:

Employee Representative: You are considered an applicant in the employee representative category if you receive payment for work performed but do not qualify as an employer using the definition described below. An officer or agent of a labor organization automatically qualifies as an employee.

Employer does not include a person acting in the capacity of officer or agent of a labor organization. At the time of their appointment, employers also must be actively engaged in business and employ others.

How to Apply:

Please submit applications using the provided forms, which can be acquired from nwtc.edu/Board.
