MSSC Production Technician Recognition and Certification

MSSC certification is designed to validate that any individual with the certification has both the technical as well as employability and academic skills needed to work in modern manufacturing. Rigorous assessment is part of the fabric of MSSC to ensure the integrity of the certification.

MSSC recognition and certification is based on passing the MSSC online assessments including multiple-choice and simulations, which includes four separate modules.

  • Manufacturing Processes and Production
  • Maintenance Awareness
  • Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Safety

MSSC provides two types of national, portable awards/credentials:

  • The “Recognition Award” is provided for each individual assessment module passed
  • The “Manufacturing Production Technician Certification” credential is provided to individuals who pass all four assessment modules.
