The Business Assistance Center is located on NWTC's Green Bay Campus. The Business Assistance Center (BAC) operates in cooperation with other community organizations. The Center creates and nurtures an entrepreneurial culture by providing an array of services and resources to the new and existing businesses aspiring to grown and enhance productivity.
In today's world there is an increasing desire among people of all ages to explore, develop, start and run their own businesses. But the knowledge, skills and abilities to start and successfully operate these businesses have never required the wearing of so many hats - and to wear them well. Though the rewards are great, the risks are equally as great, thereby requiring that today's entrepreneurs be more sophisticated and balanced in their planning and preparation. After carefully considering the needs of an entrepreneur, the Center had created four distinct Entrepreneurship Certificate courses. These courses can also be paired with other general studies classes offered at NWTC so you can create an Individualized Technical Studies Degree in Entrepreneurship.
The Center for Entrepreneurship also works with the Department of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center to offer grants to help defray the cost of entrepreneurial training and the writing of your business plan. They also will assist you in conducting a feasibility study to help you determine if your idea has merit enough to be a financially viable venture.
The Business Assistance Center is open to support your new or expanding business. To learn more about expertise, shared resources, incubator space and technical resources available at no cost or low cost, please call:
